Image processing developer, Akvis, has announced its release of version 7 of Magnifier. Available for Windows and Mac operating systems, Magnifier provides tools to resize digital images without losing quality, and is able to not only reduce an image's resolution, but increase it by dozens of times with no halos or artifacts. Intended to be easily configurable, Magnifier can be used with its preset tools or have its parameters adjusted to one's preference. Version 7 of Magnifier includes new tools as well as native support for 64-bit for Windows.
Akvis Magnifier's new features focus on overall improved function of the software. A Crop tool has been added to the standalone version, which lets users trim an image. The Share option in Version 7 offers the user the ability to post images from Magnifier to their chosen social media platforms. Batch processing bugs have been fixed, and more improvements can be found throughout the program. Current users of Magnifier can upgrade to version 7 for free, and Magnifier 7 can be downloaded as a free 10-day trial. The full version of Akvis Magnifier for new users can be downloaded from Akvis for $90.
MyFourWalls 1.0 released, able to create 3D interior design plans
Synium Software's MyFourWalls has been released, offering users the ability to create a new interior for their home in 3D. With customizable rooms and furniture available, users can test different aesthetics before renovating their space in real life. Its 2D editor is optimal for drawing floor plans -- supporting CAD as well as standard views -- and can then be switched to 3D to do a 'walkthrough' of the space that has been created.
This is a combo between an app and AKVIS Magnifier 7.0, which is being upgraded for registered users. Magnifier resizes images without the quality becoming grainy. The updates are an overall focus feature that has been implemented with the cropping and sharing tools.
MyFourWalls 1.0 is for the interior designers that need to layout some blueprint like plans.
