Useful Photography Tip #84: Slow Down - The Phoblographer | Photo Editing Software and Applications | Scoop.it

In this post we talk about slowing down your photography. Read more at The Phoblographer.

Sometimes an awesome photography moment can happen in an instant. If you are not ready, you will mis a shot. If you are ready and do get the shot, the question is, "Do you share it or do you polish it up first?" As technology progresses, it's becoming much easier to share your images quickly. Sometimes getting your photos out fast is a necessity of work. Other times, it's just sharing on the web.

Kitty Fisher's insight:

Keeping in mind that posting your photos the moment you capture them isn't the entire world. Taking a moment to breathe and think about whether or not it could use some editing can be essential. Otherwise, you'll ruin a moment and miss capturing it all together.

Scary and truly interesting at the same time. Coming across Pro-Folio was an eye opening experience, as it should be. That's what Art Student and Creator Sures Kumar, is trying to prove, that soon it will be harder than ever to find the culprits that are the fakes. So that leaves the ultimate question of "how will we be able to tell the difference between a real page and the fake one?"

Bazaart is the one app people are on the fence about. Combining Photoshop and Instagram, but would people want to share their overly photoshoped images? What does seem cool, is that this may make people come up with inventive ways, to either show their work or create a new style of photography. Maybe this will get everyone thinking about what has been repetitive for so long. And give everyone a chance to get creative.
