Photo Editor's bulk editing tools have become my preferred method to add watermarks to my images, as well as adding and modifying image meta data. Protecting your work in an increasingly rapid social flood of images can be a chore. Previously my work flow was approximately one quarter shooting, one quarter post processing, one quarter protection of images via a watermark, one quarter socializing about my own and others’ works.

Akvis has updated its OilPaint software to Version 2.0. Available as a standalone application and as a Photoshop plug-in, Akvis OilPaint is claimed to offer "an incredible algorithm" for turning photos into oil paintings.
